3. What Data Do We Process?

NovaVenture processes exclusively business data that is publicly available. We do NOT process personal data of natural persons, such as individual names, personal email addresses or other sensitive personal data.

The following business data is processed:

  • Company name (official trade name)
  • Fixed telephone number of the company
  • Complete business address (street, number, postal code, municipality)
  • VAT number of the company

This data concerns exclusively legal entities (companies) and not natural persons in a private context.

4. Source of Data

All business data is collected from publicly accessible online sources where companies have published their information themselves, such as:

  • Official business and trade registers
  • Public websites of companies
  • Public business directories
  • Other legal, publicly accessible sources

We do not purchase private databases and do not process data from non-public sources.

5. Purposes of Data Processing

We process business data for the following purposes:

  • B2B prospecting and business lead generation
  • Commercial sale of business data to business customers
  • Provision of business market information
  • Support of legitimate business activities of our customers

6. Legal Basis

The processing of business data is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR: legitimate interest.

NovaVenture has a legitimate interest in collecting and providing publicly available business data for legitimate B2B activities. We have conducted a careful balancing of interests:

  • • Privacy impact: Minimal, as only publicly available business data of legal entities is processed
  • • No processing of personal data of natural persons in a private context
  • • Companies have the right to object to inclusion in our database at any time

7. Retention Period

Business data is not retained longer than necessary for the purposes for which it was collected. We conduct periodic checks to ensure the accuracy and relevance of the data. Outdated or incorrect data is deleted or updated.

8. Disclosure to Third Parties

Business data is disclosed to:

  • Business customers who use the data for legitimate B2B prospecting
  • Service providers who support us (e.g. hosting, IT security), under strict confidentiality obligations

We do not process data outside the European Union. All data processing takes place within the EU/EEA.

Companies can object at any time to inclusion in our database. Upon receipt of your objection, we will delete your business data from our systems, unless we have demonstrable compelling legitimate grounds for processing that outweigh your interests.
